First off, I cannot believe my baby girl is 2! Time flies and life wouldn't be the same without her. She is talking up a storm now and is so fun to watch. For her birthday we went with a candy shoppe theme. I stuck with the colors blue, green, and pink. I made funfetti cupcakes, had a little candy bar, and a good assortment of finger foods. We had some family and friends come over to celebrate and of course it rained! Last year a hurricane and this year lots of rain. Daniel said next year we will have it indoors somewhere else - we shall see.
Hadleigh had a lot of fun although she is really shy around a lot of people and didn't like being sung "Happy Birthday" to. She did well when opening gifts - she got lots of good stuff! We got her a playhouse for the backyard, which hasn't arrived yet so more to come on that later.
